Dirty Texas Outfitter's Sandhill Crane hunts are conducted over industry leading gear, giving hunters the highest opportunity to harvest their limit of birds. Minimum of 8 to book a private party, smaller groups will be mixed in with another group. All hunts are morning hunts and they will conclude at 11:00am.
The state of Texas winters close to 1 million Sandhill Crane every winter. They are out our back door here at DTO and this gives our customers a very high opportunity for a great hunt. Our hunts are conducted over industry leading full body Sandhill Crane decoys and gear, giving hunters the highest opportunity to harvest their limit of birds.
*Gratuities: Tips for your guides and crew have long been a tradition since the beginning of the industry. Typically, 10-15% of the hunt cost is standard and spread out among those who went out of their way and worked extra hard to make your hunt special and enjoyable. Please bring cash if you plan on tipping.
Minimum of 7 hunters for private group on weekends.
Smaller groups will be mixed with others on weekdays.

The closest airport is Abilene Regional Airport which is about 77 miles away or 1 hour and 10 mins driving. If customers are flying in from out of state it may be easier and faster to fly in to DFW International Airport and rent a car to drive from there (3 ½ hour drive).
